Alana Mitnick, Paul Benjamin

Alana Daniel Mitnick and Paul Ezra Simon Benjamin were married on Saturday. Rabbi Richard A. Davis officiated at the Angel Orensanz Foundation in Manhattan

Mrs. Benjamin, 31, is an assistant director for admissions at Brooklyn Law School. She graduated from the University of Michigan and received a law degree from Brooklyn Law School.

She is the daughter of Nava and Harvey Mitnick of Port Washington, N.Y. The bride’s father works in Wayne, N.J., as the general counsel of the American subsidiary of the Victor Company of Japan, the maker of JVC electronics equipment. Her mother is a broker at the Port Washington office of Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty.

Mr. Benjamin, 29, is a senior financial analyst in the asset management unit, in Manhattan, of General Motors. He graduated from the University of Colorado and is pursuing an M.B.A. at Cornell.

He is a son of Rae and Robert Benjamin of Wilmette, Ill. The bridegroom’s mother is a sales associate in the Evanston, Ill., office of Koenig & Strey GMAC Real Estate. His father is a partner in the Chicago law firm Querry & Harrow.
